Three must sees in Mauritius

Here are her 3 top tips for ‘places you need to check out’ if you visit.

First up, where she stayed: the Club Med Albion La Plantation d’Albion, described as a ‘breathtaking all-inclusive resort in the south’. 

Secondly, Chamarel Seven Coloured Earth. This ‘natural phenomenon of sand dunes comprising sand of seven distinct colours – red, brown, violet, green, blue, purple and yellow’. Needs to be seen to be believed, she says.

Finally, The Rhumerie de Chamarel Distillery: a ‘guided tour of the distillery’ which offered insights into the run-making process. Plus, an ‘exceptional lunch’, followed by rum-tasting. ‘What an experience.’
