‘Connect and Protect’ focuses on Black River Gorges National Park

The Black River Gorges National Park exemplifies Mauritius’ rich biodiversity and commitment to sustainable development. It protects unique species like the Mauritius kestrel, Pink pigeon, Echo parakeet and the Trochetia boutoniana while promoting research, education, and eco-friendly tourism. Managed by the National Parks and Conservation Service, it features lush forests and stunning landscapes.
