"Connect and Protect' focuses on the Red-tailed Tropic Bird (Phaethon rubricauda)

The Red-tailed Tropic Bird (Phaethon rubricauda), with its striking red bill, white plumage, and graceful red tail, is a rare seabird in Mauritius, breeding on offshore islets. It feeds on fish and squid, diving skilfully into the ocean. Conservation efforts protect it from habitat disturbance and predators. Symbolizing freedom, it is the emblem of Air Mauritius.
