After your booking is confirmed and your ticket issued, you can change your travel date online. To do so, go to Manage Booking, enter your Booking Reference (PNR Number) and Surname, and click on Search. Your booking details will be retrieved.
Note that changes are allowed according to the fare conditions of the ticket you have bought. You may view the fare conditions during the booking process.

Refund Policy Circular
Air Mauritius takes a compassionate approach and provides flexible provisions regarding refunds, rebooking, and baggage handling in an unfortunate event of death of an Air Mauritius passenger or the death of an immediate family member.
Refund
Refund will be allowed without any penalty fee even if the ticket is non-refundable.
Rebooking
The passenger or immediate family* will have the flexibility to change their travel date free of charge or exchange their ticket for future travel.
Rebooking fee will not be collected.
No travel class differential charge will be collected for travel in same cabin, economy or business.
For any rebooking, ticket will need to be re-issued.
Baggage allowance
The supporting passenger (accompanying passenger) is entitled to carry the hand baggage and the checked baggage of the deceased person free of charge.
Documents required
Following supporting documents should be provided:
Death certificate
Proof of relationship of immediate family/Legal Representative (e.g birth / marriage certificate / any other legal document).
*Immediate family includes: spouse/common law partner, parent, stepparent or parent-in- law, child, stepchild, son/daughter-in-law, sibling, stepsibling, sibling-in-law, grandparent, grandchild, legal guardian.
Air Mauritius offers compassionate provisions for cancer patients travelling abroad for treatment and who require to amend their travelling dates due to medical reason.
1. Rebooking
Rebooking is permitted in any available booking class for both patient and any escort (accompanying passenger) travelling with booking in the same reservation.
2. Charges
A fixed administrative fee of MUR 1,500 will be applicable for any change of date. No fare difference will be collected.
3. Cancellation
Refunds will be processed as applicable as per original booking fare rules.
4. Baggage Allowance
Baggage allowance applies as per the conditions of the original ticket purchased.
A medical certificate is required and must clearly mention the diagnosis of “cancer” and state the medical necessity for altering the travel date.

Advanced bookings for seats on flights operated by our code share partners will be as per the regulations set forth by them. You may select your seat on the flight operated by the partner airline at the time of booking. After entering your details, you will be able to select your seat under extra services.
For Air Mauritius flights operated by Air France, for example, you are able to select a chargeable seat in both Business and Economy classes.
For Air Mauritius flights operated by Emirates, the seat selection are free of charge.

Pre-purchase additional luggage online when booking your flight or later by going to Manage Booking. You may also pay for any excess bags at the airport during check-in at the counters.
