‘’Connect and Protect’’ focuses on Mauritius Kestrel

The Mauritius Kestrel (Falco punctatus), once the world’s rarest bird with only four individuals in the 1970s, has rebounded to around 350 due to long-term conservation efforts. Endangered and facing ongoing threats, it thrives in native forests. Declared Mauritius’ National Bird in March 2022, it symbolizes wildlife recovery. One of our Airbus A350-900 aircraft proudly bears its name.
